Prior to coming to the Bar, Andrew was in house Counsel in Freehills, where he was often asked to provide outsourcing assistance in various HR roles.

In the late 1980’s, Andrew worked within the structural efficiency project of the Brisbane City Council and worked extensively with organizational development professionals to facilitate workplace reform across that organization.

Andrew has recently been an active advocate for reviewing management strategies dealing with an ageing Australia. He has extensive experience in recruitment, pay for performance modelling and change management.
